Running alongside the LGC Investment & Pensions Summit, the LGC Local Investment Summit brings together the LGPS, combined authorities, and asset managers for focused conversations in one place.

New for 2026, this event brings together key stakeholders to align national ambition with local delivery and unlock growth across the UK’s regions. As central government places increasing emphasis on local investment (supported by new legislation) place-based capital is becoming an important driver of economic growth.

With LGPS funds and Combined Authorities taking on a growing mandate to work together, there is a clear opportunity to strengthen understanding and alignment around investment priorities and partnership opportunities.

Combined Authorities have developed ambitious local growth plans that set out how their regions can prosper, but delivering these plans will require long-term investment from strategic partners.

Starting late afternoon on Thursday and concluding at lunchtime on Friday, this forum will help build shared understanding, strengthen partnerships, and mobilise the investment needed to turn local growth strategies into reality.
